Every repair is carried out in our Lyon workshop. Everything is repaired in France, always.
A personal, traceable and fast service.
Most microbrands outsource their after-sales service abroad, with turnaround times of six to twelve weeks. Modus Horlogerie chose the opposite from day one: every repair is carried out in France, in our Lyon workshop, by a partner watchmaker who works exclusively on our calibres.
In practice, that means one point of contact, end-to-end tracking and return times of ten to twenty working days depending on the repair.

The catalogue ships from Lyon.
Our catalogue watches ship from our Lyon watchmaking workshop, in a tracked and insured parcel. No middleman warehouse, no dropshipping: the watch is regulated before it goes into the box. A problem? It comes back to the same address, to the same people.

What it covers.
Seiko Instruments calibres
Seiko NH35, Seiko NH34 GMT, Seiko NH70 skeleton, Seiko VK63 meca-quartz. Any manufacturing defect affecting the movement is fully covered.
Rated water resistance
The warranty covers the stated water resistance (5 ATM) under normal conditions of use and with the crown screwed down.
Accuracy and complications
Rotating bezel, GMT function, chronograph, automatic winding and hacking seconds: general operation is covered.
The warranty doesn’t cover knocks, normal wear of straps and crystal, opening by an unauthorised third party, or cosmetic damage. Keep your proof of purchase: it serves as your warranty certificate.

Sending it with a return label
We email you a prepaid return label. Place the watch in its original box, pack it in a rigid parcel, then drop it off at a pickup point or post office.

Diagnosis within 5 working days
As soon as it arrives at the Lyon workshop, a watchmaker carries out a full diagnosis. We email you the report with the proposed next steps, whether under warranty or as a quote outside the warranty.

Repair or replacement
Under warranty, the repair is covered: service, gaskets, spare parts, water-resistance check. Outside the warranty, we go ahead once you’ve approved the quote. No part is ever sent abroad.

Free tracked return
Your watch is sent back by tracked Colissimo with signature, along with a detailed repair report and the water-resistance certificate when it’s renewed.

Repairs are carried out by INOVEA GROUP SAS (SIREN 989 849 849), publisher of Modus Horlogerie. The workshop is a working workshop, not open to the public: everything goes by post, with a prepaid return label.
